General Manager Rod Fergusson announces a casual livestream forDiablo 4in an effort to openly discuss some of the main issues players have had with the game. ThoughDiablo 4has broken several Blizzard records, and continues to be a commercial success, the latest Blizzard title isn’t without its fair share of problems. Fans have expressedcriticisms ofDiablo 4’s character progression, user interface, skill tree, build variety, itemization, and even microtransaction prices. While the moment-to-moment gameplay inDiablo 4is fun and addictive, the negative feedback levied against its underlying systems isn’t unwarranted.Recently, a major point of concern has beenDiablo 4’s Renown system, where players are hoping that Blizzard will reconsider its stance to make Renown reset with each new season. Though the Eternal Realm won’t take away any Renown progress by virtue of its design, the introduction of every subsequentDiablo 4season will necessitate that players re-clearDiablo 4’s open world in full to regain their lost Renown – a prospect that many find to be needlessly tedious due to its sheer scale and repetitiveness.RELATED:Diablo 4 Fans Want Blizzard to Change How Renown WorksTo that end,Diablo 4developers have coyly announced that a livestream will be held by the end of the week to settle some of the community’s most burning questions regarding the direction of the game. While the chain of tweets by no means promises thatDiablo 4fans will get the solution they want, it does give developers a chance to talk to the community.

Though the past few hotfixes have eliminated many of the optimalfarming spots inDiablo 4such as Ruins of Eridu, they have also brought back an adjusted version of the Legendary Aspects that Barbarian players used in their Whirlwind and Bleed builds. The community hopes that the classes will become more balanced by the timeDiablo 4’s inaugural season drops, as only Druids seem to be equipped with enough defensive capabilities to tackle the high-end Nightmare Sigils.

Each new season inDiablo 4will come with a Battle Passtrack, and will introduce standalone content to enhance the base game. By contrast,Diablo 4’s expansions will directly continue the main storyline, and likely introduce a new class. Though it’s highly unlikely that future content will be discussed on the developer livestream, it should hopefully allay some of the biggest fears the community has had since the game’s launch.

Diablo 4is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
