This week, the snow began falling in and around the Tower, kicking off the four week seasonal event known as The Dawning. Just like last year, Eva Levante is handing out portable ovens so guardians can bake delicious treats for their favorite NPC characters, including a former adversary. There arenew rewards and gear to collectincluding a new SMG called Cold Front, as well as an exotic sparrow.
Speaking of The Dawning, the saga of Saint-14 rolls forward this weekend as the legendary Titan hero has finally found his way back to the Tower. Players can now pick up bounties from him as well as turn in the special Lavender Ribbon cookies for the Baked for Speed exotic quest.

Saint-14 isn’t the only arrival to the world ofDestiny 2today as the exotic merchant Xur has also made is grant appearance with an inventory stuff with exotics. Follow this guide for his location as well as a review of what he’s currently selling for the weekend of June 04, 2025.

Where is Xur?
To catch up with this elusive merchant, players will want to head on over to Titan.
Once loaded into The Rig, start heading to the other side of the zone towards the ramp that leads to the Solarium. Before reaching that ramp, Xur can be found inside one of the nearby houses, typically on the left side if the player is facing the Solarium ramp.

Class Armor
Keep in mind thatthe Armor 2.0 updatehas caused Xur’s items each week to mirror the rolls players get from pulling these items from their own Collections. As it stands, players should likely hold on to their shards if they already own the following items. Players can use the Fated Engram to pull something a little different if nothing in his inventory is appealing this week, including new exotic items.
Here are Xur’s three gear pieces this weekend:
Contraverse Hold - Warlockgauntlets
This Forsaken exotic is aimed at Voidwalkers who enjoy using grenades. Chaos Exchanger is the unique perk and it provides damage resistance while charging a void grenade with Chaos Accelerant, Feed the Void, or Handheld Supernova. In addition, after using throwing it and landing a hit, a portion of grenade energy is returned.
These are a solid exotic item, though with the recent nerfs to Nova Warp, their utility has decreased from where it once was. As of right now, the debate is out on this exotic, which used to be quite popular but has since taken a hit due tothe recent Nova Warp nerf. Aggressive, grenade throwing players may find this exotic useful in the Crucible, though many Warlocks have instead turned towards the Skull of Dire Ahamkara as it caters more towards Nova Bomb users.
Void Enhanced. Stat Values:
Assassin’s Cowl - Hunter helm
Surprisingly, Bungie has given the Shadowkeep exotic, Assassin’s Cowl, to Xur for this weekend. This helm comes with the Vanishing Execution exotic perk, which is tied directly to melee and finisher moves. Essentially, if a player defeats another guardian with a melee attack or does a finishing move on an enemy, they’re given invisibility and restores a portion of health and shields.
It’s a cool looking helm that does have value, but in the current meta of that game, it’s not something in the top tier. Besides, this exotic is basically given to all Hunter players forfinishing the Shadowkeep campaign, so it’s likely the majority of all Hunter players already have it. This is a safe item to skip this week, largely because it can be obtained without using resources.
Dunemarchers - Titan boots
Dunemarchers are back in stock this weekend for Titan players who like to run fast and hit hard. Linear Actuators increase the player’s sprint speed and also builds up a static charge. When using a melee attack on an opponent, the charge is released and chains damage to all nearby enemies.
Ultimately, these are a fun exotic to mess around with though their actual utility may vary from person to person. Still, they’re worth picking up for those who don’t have them as they can cause some pretty big damage when paired with certain Titan subclasses like bottom tree Striker or middle tree Sunbreaker.
Arc Enhanced. Stat Values:
Exotic Weapon
Originallyintroduced inside of the Forsaken expansionlast year, Bungie went ahead and made this item a pre-order bonus for those who opted into Shadowkeep before it launched. The Two-Tailed fox is a rocket launcher that fires two elemental rockets, one void and one solar. Better yet, these rockets can track the same target. The void rocket also suppresses the target while the solar one does damage over time.
While this is a fun weapon to use, rocket launchers just are not exactly top of the heavy meta at the moment especially for Crucible users who tend to stick to machine guns or grenade launchers. It certainly has its uses in certain game modes, but like the Assassin’s Cowl, this is likely a weapon that most people have already.
