The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk DLC forPokemon Scarlet and Violetwill officially launch on Thursday, December 14.Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s post-launch support has included plenty of updates, special Pokemon distribution events, Tera Raid battles, and of course, paid DLC.
The first paid DLC forPokemon Scarlet and Violetwas called The Teal Mask, made available this past September.The Teal Mask DLC forPokemon Scarlet and Violetgave fans of the open worldPokemongames the chance to explore a brand-new area and add never-before-seen Pokemon to their roster. The same will be true of The Indigo Disk when it launches on December 14, though fans still have yet to learn of the full roster in an official capacity.
When thePokemon Scarlet and VioletIndigo Disk DLC drops on December 14, fans can look forward to at least 91 returning Pokemon and four brand-new Pokemon. It’s possible that more will be included in The Indigo Disk DLC when it launches, but that remains to be seen. The four new Pokemon making their debut inPokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC are Terapagos, Archaludon,Raging Bolt, and Iron Crown.

Unfortunately, there will still be Pokemon missing fromScarlet and Violeteven after The Indigo Disk DLC launches. Game Freak has made it clear that it has no plans onreturning to a National Pokedex, meaning there will potentially never be another main seriesPokemongame that lets players literally catch ‘em all. Perhaps that will change in a futurePokemoninstallment, but fans shouldn’t hold their breath.
The release of The Indigo Disk DLC in December will mean that Game Freak will likely turn its attention to its next majorPokemonproject. TheGeneration 10Pokemongameswill most likely release for the Switch successor console, and it will be interesting to see how they address fan feedback fromScarlet and Violet, if at all.

And in ★ Starfall Street ★, you’ll challenge Team Star, a group of delinquents causing trouble for the school.These stories are set in an open world, so where you go is all up to you. A world teeming with Pokémon and people to meet is waiting for you—traverse the Paldea region wherever you heart desires.
