Call of Duty: Warzoneplayers have seen several ups and downs over the past few months. Much like how the DMR nerf was followed by an increased number of cheaters, the most recentCall of Duty: Warzoneban wavehas been followed up by a return of the invisibility glitch.
For anyCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers unfamiliar with the glitch, it is just as game-breaking as it sounds. Activated in several different ways, from crashing attack helicopters to failing loadout drops, the bug ruins matches whenever it is in the game. With the invisible players almost always being impossible to kill and getting a win, many fans of the game have been dreading the day when this glitch returned — and unfortunately, the invisibility exploit has made an unwelcome return.

In its most recent appearance of the bug, the invisibility glitch was activated bya specific ghillie suit skinpurchased fromCall of Duty: Warzone’s in-game shop. Its latest appearance seems to have a different activation, though, as the turrets on Armored Royale’s trucks have been pointed to as the cause. As shown in a clip from Redditor greatscottttttttt, the glitch is just as effective as it was in previous appearances, as the invisible player wipes out the clip’s poster and his squad in seconds upon them entering the house.
Fortunately, the one good takeaway from the bug’s latest appearance is that it only seems to show up in the Armored Royale game mode. Re-activated in theCall of Duty: Warzone’s latest playlist update, the mode sees players using special trucks with turrets on the back as both spawn points and weapons. While not confirmed, players believe that using these truck turrets as the vehicle crashes causes the invisibility glitch to occur — just like what used to happen with the battle royale game’s attack helicopters.
As such, players can simply avoid Armored Royale for the time being, waiting on Raven to provide another fix for this invisibility issue. Hopefully, knowing the source of the bug and having it limited to one vehicle makes it easier to fix, though this could just make things more challenging because of how integral the vehicle is to the mode. With Raven unable to temporarily pull the truck without removing Armored Royale entirely, it could be some time before thisfrustratingCall of Duty: Warzonebugis fixed.
While players should be preparing forCall of Duty: Warzone’s anniversary and enjoying a version of the game that lacks cheaters, it seems that they are currently unable to do so. With another recurring issueon the level of the Stim glitchstill being seen, it seems the free-to-playCall of Dutytitle is still not in a stable state.
Call of Duty: Warzoneis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
