ACall of Duty: Warzone 2player found a large mass of AFK players that were dumped off at the end of the plane’s path and proceeded to kill them all. Season 3 ofCall of Duty: Warzone 2launched last week, adding a host of new content, including Gunfight as well as a new Battle Pass.

InWarzone 2Battle Royale, 150 players drop from a planeinto the massive Al Mazrah mapand do battle until only one squad remains. At the beginning of a match, the plane starts at one end of the map and cruises to the opposite end giving players ample opportunity to chart out where on the island they want to drop before leaping out. Players who are AFK are carried all the way to the end of the plane’s path before they’re dumped out into the ocean just off the coast.

One player took the journey to the end of the line and came across something very interesting, to say the least. Reddit user Ok-Afternoon5828 posted a video of themdropping from the plane at the end of its path over Al Mazrahand watching a hilarious mass of about 10-12 AFK players skydiving in a close group and plopping into the ocean.

Ok-Afternoon took this bountiful opportunity to secure some free XP and proceeded to dispatch them all in the water with a flurry of melee hits andshots from the starting pistol. It appears one of the AFK players even “woke up” and started swimming around as the group was being killed from below the depths, but it was too late, as they were taken out before they even knew what was going on. It’s additionally hilarious that this was all taking place in a quads match and that Ok-Afternoon had abandoned their three other teammates to go off on this AFK rampage mission.

With such a high player count, there are bound to be at least a handful of AFK players in everyWarzonematch. It’s possible some of these players werejust trying to level theirWarzoneBattle Passesby merely existing inWarzonematches, or perhaps their controller batteries died. Whatever the case, it’s hilarious to see them all in a jumbled mass hurdling toward the ocean. It’s interesting to imagine the nonsensical fun that could be had by taking the plane to the end of its course and seeing what goes on down there or maybe just racking up some AFK kills for free XP.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2is out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
