When it comes toCall of Duty: Vanguard, the rumored title for the 2021Call of Dutygame, there has been no shortage of leaks. For months, leakers have pointed toCall of Duty: Vanguardhaving a World War 2 setting, and now there’s even more evidence pointing in that direction. A big leak has potentially confirmed not justCall of Duty: Vanguard’s setting, but also its release month and some of its game modes.
In a new report by VGC, it’s claimed thatCall of Duty: Vanguardwill launch in November for current- and next-gen consoles, likely meaning PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, as well as PC. The report states thatCall of Duty: Vanguardwill have a World War 2 setting, as previous leaks have indicated, though there’s no mention of the game also being set in the 50s as some other leaks have indicated.

The VGC report also touches onCall of Duty: Vanguard’s game modes. Unsurprisingly,Call of Duty: Vanguardwill have a campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies. While this may seem like a given, there have beenCall of Dutygames without Zombies modes in the past, with2019’sCall of Duty: Modern Warfareskipping it. However, it seems Zombies fans don’t have to worry about this year’sCall of Dutygame dropping the fan favorite mode.
More specific details onCall of Duty: Vanguard’s Zombies mode, its multiplayer, or its campaign are not revealed in the report. The only other detail is that theCall of Duty: Vanguardcampaign will supposedly be about how the Special Forces were formed from World War 2, though what exactly that will entail remains to be seen. Ultimately,Call of Dutyfans will have to wait for an official reveal to find out more.
Unfortunately, it’s unclear when theCall of Duty: Vanguardreveal will happen. VGC notes in its report thatCall of Duty: Vanguardwill not be at E3 2021, which is something Activision itself confirmed. Instead Activision will use theupcoming Summer Game Fest kickoff eventto revealCall of Duty: WarzoneSeason 4. Anyone interested can tune in to the Summer Game Fest event on June 10 at 11am PT, taking place just prior to E3 2021 kicking off this weekend.
It’s been said by leakers in the past thatCall of Duty: Warzonewill be used to revealVanguard, soCall of Dutyfans will want to keep their eyes open as they play the game this summer.
