Late last year, Infinity Ward added Drop Zone toCall of Duty: Modern Warfarefor a limited time. For the uninitiated, Drop Zone is a popular mode that originated inModern Warfare 3, and many fans were excited to have it available inModern Warfare. Unfortunately, Drop Zone disappeared for a bit, but now it’s coming back as part of the latestCall of Duty: Modern Warfareupdate.

In an update that will likely start rolling out toCall of Duty: Modern Warfareplayers on April 14, Infinity Ward is adding Drop Zone back to the standard multiplayer experience. In Drop Zone,Modern Warfareplayers can earn points by being inside the designated “Drop Zone,” and the first team to reach the required point total wins the match. Instead of earningModern Warfaremultiplayer killstreaksby killing enemy players as usual, Drop Zone instead has killstreaks constantly drop on the map.
