Each of the maps available inCall of Duty: Warzonelimits how far players can explore. Out-of-bound lines surround the border of the maps, and leaving these zones results in a timer countdown and eventually death. Despite this,Call of Duty: Warzonefans have a variety of tools they can use to explore outside these limitations.

The RC-XD is a popular tool recently added toCall of Duty: Warzone, and it can travel outside of the boundary lines. Like manykillstreaks inCall of Duty, the RC-XD plays by a different set of rules, and this gives it a unique perspective on the world. While players can still not leave the boundaries, one fan has used his RC-XD to explore what lies beyond the known training ground.

In a clip posted by Reddit0r69420 to r/CODWarzone, the player uses his RC-XD near the entry gate of the training area. Sending the remote control car far beyond known limits, they find a variety of interestingCall of Duty: Warzonemap details. Once they clear past the helicopter and head over a hill, they find several buildings in a standard city pattern. These buildings have textures that make them look 3D, but they are actually 2D surfaces on giant cubes. Beyond this city is only 2D trees and a mountain pattern, but the small town has caught the community’s attention as it does not look like anything currently available in the game.

TheCall of Duty: Warzonemapis designed as a small training area to test out gear and equipment, but these buildings present interesting options. While the community recognizes these as, most likely, stand-ins for a distance perspective, there are other possibilities that come from their design.

One fan points out that in the past, players have been able to explore this area by leaving the map. While it was aCall of Duty: Warzoneexploit, the single-player training mode gave no advantage to this extra exploration. Previously, fans have identified the map as huge, with many speculating that it could be the same size as Verdansk or larger.

Once a player reaches the outer areas, the floor eventually gives out and theCall of Duty: Warzonemapdisappears. Players will drop below it, and other strange glitches manifest due to the character being in an unexpected situation.

Call of Duty: Warzoneis available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
