Bethesda has released the official soundtrack toHi-Fi Rushon YouTube. The latest title from Tango Gameworks has been a hit among many gamers, with its music being a key contributor such as, for instance, how it brings thebest ofGuitar HerotoHi-Fi Rush. With the official soundtrack going public on YouTube, fans can experienceHi-Fi Rush’s original tunes beyond the game.
Hi-Fi Rushmay have launched with little to no marketing, but it’s been one of the biggest first-party titles for Xbox in the recent past. In fact, the game was so successful thatHi-Fi Rushoutperformed triple-A titleForspokenon Steamduring their launch week in late January. The game’s commercial success was largely helped by how it incorporated music and rhythm throughoutHi-Fi Rush’s gameplay. As such, it may come as no surprise that many gamers took a liking to Tango’s original music in the game and requested the music to be publicly accessible. It appears Bethesda may have finally granted this fan request.

The officialHi-Fi Rushsoundtrack is now available on Bethesda’s YouTube channel with all 66 tracks from the game. The total runtime of the official soundtrack goes up to a little over three and a half hours, including extended mixes for several of the tracks. While the YouTube availability comes as a welcome addition, fans will likely hope Bestheda will follow this up by uploading the full soundtrack on music streaming platforms. Neither Bethesda nor Tango Gameworks has commented on the possibility, though it may not be far off to expect the official soundtrack on Spotify soon, especially given its popularity.
It should be noted that Bethesda has released a Spotify playlist that featuresall ofHi-Fi Rush’s licensed musicranging fromThe Perfect Drugfrom Nine Inch Nails to Wolfgang Gartner’sWolfgang’s 5th Symphony. Apart from these tracks,Hi-Fi Rusheven offers substitutes for the licensed music under its Streamer Mode, intended for helping content creators avoid copyright strikes.
As of now, it’s unclear what Tango Gameworks plans to do withHi-Fi Rushbeyond the music considerations. While a sequel may be possible, given the commercial reception for the rhythm-based action game, it will be a while until the studio announces any plans, if at all. AlthoughBethesda’s decision to shadow dropHi-Fi Rushand its consequent success could mean Xbox may opt for more surprise launches. Either way, it’s shaping up to be an interesting year for Xbox and gaming, particularly the rhythm-based genre.
