Berserk Boy: New Hope City - Mission One Medals
Medal 1
After passing through a grind rail section, you’ll need to drop down to a lower level. Turn left before progressing to find a medal. If you’ve reached the Area 2 checkpoint, you’ve gone too far.
Medal 2
Shortly after the previous medal and before the Area 2 checkpoint, look up to find a tube with arrows pointing up. you’re able to use your Berserk abilities to enter the device. If you have enough Resistance members rescued, you can enter a combat challenge, with a medal as the reward (and another Resistance member).
Medal 3
To get this medal, you must first collect the Flame Drill form by completing Mission Three. Use the drill to burrow through the dirt, as seen in the pic above.
The Flame Drill orb lets you dig underground to avoid projectiles, enemies, and spikes. You can also use it to perform a spinning tornado type of attack to activate certain platforms. There will be a flame icon on the objects you can interact with while in the Flame form. Of course, you can also use the collected currency to purchase upgrades from the home base.

Medal 4
You will also need the Flame Drill power to get the fourth medal in Mission One. You’ll reach an area where the medal is blocked off by a dirt wall, as seen in the image above.
Medal 5
You’ll eventually see another one of those transfer tube things above some red platforms. Enter it using the Berserk ability, complete the platforming challenge, and find the medal at the end.
verify you drop off any collected Medals at a checkpoint area, as it won’t count towards your collectibles if you don’t.
