Animal Crossing: New Horizonsprovides gamers with a whole island to explore and decorate and gives them more customization options than ever. One way to customize the island’s decor is to write or draw something on the bulletin board located in the town square. AnAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsplayer recently showed off a collection of their bulletin board art, and it is spectacular to say the least.
Over the years, manyAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsplayers have used the game as a platform to create tributes to their favorite franchises. TheAnimal Crossing: New Horizons' bulletin board is a good platformfor these tributes, especially since it can support detailed drawings that lack theAnimal Crossinggames' stylized graphics. However, some artists appear to have truly mastered the bulletin board and can create masterpieces on the Switch screen.

Redditor taotaodeli showed off a total of 27 pieces of bulletin board art they created inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons, which werepreserved in individual screenshots. Each piece shows a unique scene, with many depicting theadorable characters ofAnimal Crossinginteracting with each other and their surroundings. Some of these even appear to depict holiday celebrations inside the game. They are all painstakingly drawn with an incredible level of detail.
Some of the recurring villagers shown in taotaodeli’s art arethe ever-popular Raymond, Judy, and Shino. However, they didn’t limit themselves to just drawing existingAnimal Crossingcharacters - they also appear to have drawn several different player characters hanging out with the other villagers and each other. Additionally, taotaodeli also drew tribute art to several iconic characters from other franchises. This includes a detailed close up of San from the Studio Ghibli moviePrincess Mononokeas well as Raymond hanging out with the player character fromPersona 5in full phantom thief getup. A third image features Link in hisBreath of the Wilddesign preparing to draw the Master Sword from its resting place.
All of taotaodeli’s art features a pale and stylized color scheme that relies heavily on pinks, yellows, and light blues as well as black and white. The result often feels surreal and dreamlike, but can also be used to create stylish and fiery drawings. This is demonstrated by a piece that showsPortgas D. Ace fromOne Piecewreathed in fire and preparing for combat using the same light color scheme as the other drawings. Another bulletin board is dedicated to showing the intensely determined faces of the four main characters of Naruto, each with a single color dedicated to them.
