Among Usremains one of the most popular video games in the world, and so it’s no surprise that it’s making its way to more platforms. Previously only available on PC and mobile devices,Among Ushas since released on the Nintendo Switchand is also making its way to Xbox platforms later this year. And now the world renowned social deduction game has been confirmed for PlayStation as well, withAmong Uscoming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in 2021.
A specific release date forAmong Uson PS4 and PS5 wasn’t revealed, but fans can expect the game to drop on PlayStation later this year. WhenAmong Usdoes come to PS4 and PS5 in 2021, fans can expect some PlayStation exclusive cosmetic content. This includes a skin based onRatchet & Clankprotagonist Ratchet, a hat that looks like Ratchet’s ears, and a pet that looks like Ratchet’s companion Clank. It’s unclear if this content will come with the PlayStation version of the game or if it will need to be purchased separately, so fans should hang tight for more information on that front.

Not much else was revealed when it comes toAmong Uson PlayStation, unfortunately. The game was announced during the latest PlayStation State of Play event, which also featured a PS4 and PS5 release date forSubnautica: Below Zero, but mostly focused on the upcoming PS5 exclusive gameRatchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
Since the PlayStation State of Play was mainly to showcaseRatchet & Clank: Rift ApartPS5 gameplay, it makes sense that theAmong UsPlayStation skin and pet themed after the 3D platforming heroes. However, it does leave one to wonder if more PlayStation-themed content could be on the way forAmong Usin future. There are countless PlayStation franchises thatAmong Uscould take inspiration from, so it will be interesting to see if anything else is announced between now and then.
Besides potential new PlayStation-themed cosmetics,Among Usfans are also waiting to learn the game’s actual release date on PS4 and PS5. Similarly to theXbox version ofAmong Us, the PS4 and PS5 version is currently slated for a vague 2021. More information on the release date and other details aboutAmong Uson PlayStation should come to light in the months ahead as we get closer to its release.
Among Usis coming to Game Pass when it hits Xbox, so perhaps Sony will counter by releasing it as a free PlayStation Plus game. That’s just speculation at this time, but hopefullyAmong Usfans don’t have to wait too much longer to learn more about the PlayStation port.
