Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sithis based on the movie of the same name. Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi are controlled by the player through a story that’s more or less similar to that of the movie. However, the game does offer an alternate ending in which Anakin kills Obi-Wan. Additionally, there are also 12 minutes of cutscenes from the movie.

With the push from the success of the movie the game managed to perform quite well in terms of sales, with 1.24 million copies sold for Xbox and 3.32 for PlayStation 2, equalling 4.55 million in total on home consoles. The portable versions on the GBA and Nintendo DS are reported to have sold a combined 1.03 million copies, bringing the total to 5.58 million.
